RATING
Of all the “bookish” podcasts I follow, this one is the BEST! Cindy Burnett balances thoughtful and intelligent conversation with fun interaction with her guests. I wish I would have met her while I lived in Houston, but now am grateful to have her in my ears wherever I go. I have discovered many wonderful books and authors through Cindy and her community.
I love this podcast! Cindy brings guests on that I'm dying to hear from. I especially enjoy her chats about historical fiction. She lets authors be themselves and is such a compassionate reader herself, that I appreciate her own insights too. Great podcast for readers!
Thoughts from a Page PodcastThank you!
Cindy is at the top of her game in the bookstagramming community as she expertly interviews authors in the most thoughtful, engaging and warm manner. You will walk away with not only a sense of why the book she and the author are discussing is important but also learn the path the author followed to bring their creation to life to share with us readers... and you will undoubtedly have yet another wonderful read to add to your growing book pile! Cindy is fast making a name for herself in literary circles as one to follow and see what and who she is reading. You will never want for a book to read or an author to add to your list after relaxing to these podcasts.
I always look forward to new episodes on this podcast! Cindy asks insightful questions and the conversations flow so well with the authors. I also really enjoy the variety of authors - both in genre and background - on this podcast.Cindy's book selections and author interviews have also steadily grown my list of books to read. My most recent favorite episode was the one with Riley Sager. I'm really looking forward to reading his newest one as well the others discussed on other episodes.
We love this podcast! Great authors and experts, fun conversation, and interesting tidbits. Cindy does a great job making those she converses with relaxed and willing to share. A really great way to spend my time listening to and learning about new reads and authors. Highly recommend it!
This is a must listen for every avid reader out there! Cindy asks intelligent questions aimed at gaining insight into such a wide variety of books and the authors behind them. I've been introduced to a bunch of new and interesting reads. Highly recommend!
This is such a wonderful podcast. Every single episode is riveting and insightful. I love learning more about the craft and Cindy does a wonderful job asking all the right questions and facilitating the flow of the conversation. It's clear that she cares deeply about the work and the authors that she supports. I highly recommend this podcast!
Thoughts from a Page PodcastThank you so much!
Cindy’s podcast is one of my favorite literary podcasts! She has so many great author guests of books that I’m reading or interested in hearing more about. The interviews are all so timely and filled with interesting questions (I love hearing about the covers!). Some of my favorite episodes are the ones with Elizabeth from Fabled bookstore. They preview books for the upcoming season or talk about their favorites—my TBR gets filled up especially after these episodes!
Cindy's taste in books is impeccable (if, as a former guest, I do say so myself!) and she is expert at generating thoughtful, insightful & entertaining glimpses into the author's life & craft. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the book business.
This is a terrific podcast: a warm, insightful interviewer with interesting guests.Cindy keeps the discussion going with in-depth questions that really dig deep into some of the whys and hows of books/publishing, etc. A must for anyone who enjoys books, is interested in learning more about the publishing business, or just appreciates thoughtful discussions. I am always looking forward to the next episode!
I love Cindy's podcasts because she delves below the surface and gets to the heart of what each book is about. Her questions are insightful and sometimes challenging, forcing us authors to think about our craft. And I love the fact that she painstakingly edits out the fumbles and stumbles so I sound reasonably articulate. I know there must be a huge amount of work behind each episode but she makes them sound effortless – and always fun to listen to.

This is a fantastic and engaging podcast. Cindy is a thoughtful interviewer who asks questions about the stories, the writing journey, and the craft. I am inspired while listening to each episode and learn so much, in addition to getting great book recommendations!
Cindy's interviews are in-depth and interesting. She always brings a fresh perspective to the books she reviews. Thoughts from a Page is my favorite bookish podcast.
I’ve enjoyed listening to Cindy’s podcast and was honored to be a guest! Thank you, Cindy, for the great questions and for the time spent talking books! Can’t wait to listen to who you speak to next!
Terrific topics and great interviews! What a treat for thoughtful readers.
I’ve had the pleasure of both being a guest on Cindy’s wonderful podcast and listening to many many episodes. Cindy is thorough and insightful and often asks unique questions about both story and process to truly engage the listener! I can hardly wait until the next episode is released!
Cindy does really thoughtful interviews with authors, getting to the heart of the backstory in a way that is engaging to avid and casual readers alike. Highly recommend.
