I interviewed Martin Salama. Martin created The Warrior's L.I.F. philosophy. This approach after spending years in emotional pain and turmoil after his brother, Michael, died in an accident when they were children. This event radically shaped how he viewed the world and drove him to become a people pleaser to ensure everyone around him didn't experience his pain. The only problem was — this plan backfired. Everyone in his life (including himself ) was miserable.

Soon after the financial crash in 2008, he lost everything he owned, and his wife of 24 years asked for a divorce. It was indeed a low point in his life. However, this pressure made him realize that circumstances go up and down, but his internal state doesn't have to follow suit!

During this journey, he decided to become a life coach. His training and experience when he graduated helped him further clarify what truly matters to him: relationships. So, he started rebuilding the relationships in his life, where he knew the changes would make the most powerful and long-lasting change; His first goal began by improving his relationship with himself.

Weight — literal and figurative — began to lift from him. As he sat still, listening to the 10-minute guided meditation and making an effort to clear his mind, a sudden download occurred. Inspired, he grabbed a pencil and paper. After several hours, he had the seed that would grow into The Warrior's L.I.F.E. Code.

The core of The Warrior's L.I.F.E. Code is learning to accept who you are and respond to life's ups and downs rather than reacting.
