I interviewed Ryan Cote. Ryan is an author and entrepreneur. He is the owner of Morning Upgrade, a business dedicated to increasing the awareness of personal development through a blog, podcast, book, and morning routine cards. He is also co-owner of his family’s marketing agency and a real estate investor.

Ryan stated that he comes from a family of entrepreneurs and currently helps run his family’s direct mail and digital marketing company, Ballantine, with my uncle and two brothers, his dad retired in 2017. Rayan's great uncle started the company in 1966 — fast forward to today, and they have a great team all working together to help their clients succeed. They also just launched a new roofing company under the Ballantine umbrella called Ballantine Home Improvement!

Ryan considers himself a serial entrepreneur. Ever since college, he has had side ventures from affiliate marketing to building & selling an eCommerce website to providing SEO services to small businesses, and more, he says that he still has an active interest in creating, testing, and trying new things in business (for example, my passion project, Morning Upgrade!). 

Not only did I come from a family of entrepreneurs, but according to Ryan his wife, Jill pushed him into becoming a real estate investor. 15 years later they are now landlords.

Rayn's goal with Morning Upgrade is to create a real impact in the world…essentially wanting to raise the awareness of morning routines and personal development. He hopes to eventually reach 100,000 visitors per month to his website. His desire is to achieve the creation of a community that helps people build happier, more fulfilling lives while discovering strategies for reaching their goals. 

He seeks to convince people to take an active interest in personal development by developing a strong morning routine. In his personal experience, morning routines have been the catalyst to success and growth in his life. He knows that it can do the same for you! 

Simply put, Morning Upgrade's mission is to inspire as many people as possible to create a morning routine habit and take their personal development to new levels.
