Three Black Halflings is an amazing DnD talkshow where you get honest opinions interweaved with funny jokes and great personality. If you enjoy DnD and want to smile, definitely give them a listen!-WafflesMapleSyrup
Heard about if from Not Another DnD Podcast and Three black Halflings has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts! Super enjoyable to listen to while I do labwork :)
Unati, Jasper and Jeremy all rolled a nat 20 on their podcasting check. Anyone wanting to learn how to run or play in tabletop games better should definitely listen to this show.
An amazing podcast that promotes diversity and inclusion in Dungeons and Dragons with some incredible guests and their own actual play sessions in the African inspired 5e setting of Wagadu
I've been subscribed to this podcast since it first launched last year and kept putting it off in my very-full listening queue for all sorts of reasons ('I don't actually lead any games,' I told myself, 'and I hardly ever play D&D itself; I'm more into other TTRPGs,' and the kicker, 'I'm already so behind on all of my story-driven podcasts! I need to play catch-up first!').Well, I finally decided enough is enough & I'm well past-due to listen to what gave every impression of being a great podcast about issues that are important well outside of the D&D-specific TTRPG space. Am I ever glad I did, too!Is this podcast informative? Yes. Does it discuss difficult and important topics? Absolutely. Is a lot of the content fairly D&D-specific and aimed at DMs? Sure. Is it also incredibly entertaining and absolutely to be recommended to anyone and everyone involved in any aspect of TTRPGs? Hell yes!
A wonderful, important, hilarious commentary and actual play podcast. The halflings explore, representation, racism, and prejudice in ttrpgs, play the awesome Wagadu Chronicles setting and occasional oneshots, host great guests, rarely stay on the rails.
Really good podcast, some solid Actual play stories, and some really great examinations of RPG community issues, as well as covering social issues. Entertaining AND Informative!
It's a super funny show with hosts that are entertaining and knowledgeable and I get the sense that they just want TTRPGs to be a fun place for everyone. I've finished every episode that I've listened to with a feeling of sincere gladness. I also appreciate that they don't stifle their concerns about the industry and culture as a whole. Instead they make it loud and clear what they think is wrong but they also give great insight into why they think that and what they think could be done better.
Fun and informed conversations about a wide range of topics related to TTRPGs, with a large enough backlog that you can find discussions of most things you might be interested in.
Unati, Jasper and Jeremy definitely rolled a Nat 20 on their podcasting check. They're witty, hilarious, all three have soothing voices, could listen to them for hours.
I found out about this podcast through the HeadGum network, and ever since, I haven't been able to stop listening. Not only are the three halflings some of the greatest people ever, but they are very informative and approach topics in a way that looks at issues from both sides. I think everyone with a brain should listen to this not only for the information but also for the enjoyable D&D experience.
Jeremy Jasper and Unati talk about diversity in all things especially DND ! They are fun energetic and a great listen! This review wasn’t paid for by Unati’s many gems! You need to listen to this podcast
