Today’s reading is from 3 John 7-8

“Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.

"We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth." 

Take a few moments to meditate on these verses. 

Now, take some time to think about and answer these questions:

7. Why did the brethren depart on missionary journeys? For His (Jesus's) namesake.

8. Why ought we to receive (show hospitality to) fellow believers? It's a way for us to help them.
