Welcome to the final of our three part series covering the human and financial cost of toxic workplaces. And thank you for bearing with our phone call-in audio in this series. We should return to regular audio levels next week.

In this series, we explored what toxic workplaces actually cost an organization.  In the last episode, we addressed what it costs us as human beings. This week, we discuss how it can affect the organization's bottom line. 50% of all people contemplate leaving jobs where they experience incivility. That is a huge investment in turnover - even if that 50% do not all leave on the first instance of incivility and bullying. We end our episode with advice to employers on how they can begin to model and support compassion in the workplace as a counter measure to toxic people and environments.
