Hosts: Lucy Kannan and Susan Kate with Lou Conrad
Tongue & Axe is proud to present the “Master of the Universe” Himself, Fiach Moriarty, who currently has the #1 CD in Tower Records in Dublin, Ireland! Known in the music world simply as “Fiach”, this Dubliner has even seen his debut CD, ‘So I’ become the #1 Album of the Week last week on RTÉ Radio 1! When Fiach is not making music or traveling to or from gigs, he catches some well-deserved shut-eye, and gets in the occasional game of Gaelic Football. Fluent in his country’s native tongue, Fiach has also written songs in Irish, and has some of those songs included on several the “Ceol” albums which feature Ireland’s best known musicians singing only in Irish. Playing his beautiful Takamine guitar, fondly named Byoncé, Fiach plays a lot of gigs as “special guest” to his friend, Declan O’Rourke. An extremely talented musician whose #1 love has always been music, Fiach will certainly capture your attention and your heart. Now that he is being introduced to the world through his first album, he is already working on a second one, which is sure to delight music lovers yet again. Ladies and gentlemen: FIACH.
