It’s a critical position that oversees recruitment, promotions, health care, and several key areas. On Friday, Canada’s military police say they are looking into ‘historic’ allegations of sexual misconduct involving Whelan. Meantime, incoming Canadian Army commander Lieutenant-General Trevor Cadieu is also facing sexual misconduct allegations. He denies any wrongdoing as an investigation into his situation appears likely. As MPs prepare for a return to Parliament Hill, how will these additional allegations impact how the topic is handled moving forward?
