Each of these podcasts focuses on relevant topics and are delivered with biblical truth. I recently listened to #14 - Praise as a Weapon and was touched by Clarise and how much she impacted one man's life through her singing and worship. We often forget how powerful praise is. This podcast offers so many nuggets of truth, powerful insight, and encouragement!
Thank you so much Deborah and Clarisse! I'm so grateful for this message today. I'm grateful to God that I got to be a part of that group at Covenant for a little while. It was life changing! Two things I will always be grateful to the Lord for during that time. First, I experienced healing from a particular fear one Sunday during worship. I wasn't praying about that fear. I was praising. I'm kind of a regular person. Things like this don't happen to people like me. But it did! He is no respector of persons. ❤️ The second thing I learned was that praise didn't start with a feeling. I always thought that I had to "muster up" feelings of praise before I could actually praise. I remember singing songs at covenant where the focus was purely on the Lord and his character. That was a game changer for me! When I prayed scripture back to the Lord I couldn't get over how awesome He truly is. I discovered it is the kindness of God that draws us. He didn't judge me. He accepted me. When I sang to Him about Him, my feelings changed. I could rely on Him. He was faithful. He was trustworthy. He not only loved me, He liked me. That's HUGE! He likes and loves me, when I don't like me. I'm counted as precious just because I'm His. That's when the feelings came. Feelings of Gratitude that He would care for a regular person like me. A person who is messy and has a messy life. When I sing to Him, my hurt disolves. My fear is overcome with gratitude. This happens when I remember. Remember to sing to Him about Him. I don't always remember to do this.... He knows how much like a sheep I am and still shows me compassion! So thank you Deborah and Clariesse! Thank you for being obedient to praise Him. My ability to sing to Him about Him, and to experience His nonjudgment... His grace....well the things He is producing in me,.....is the fruit of your obedience. Thank you for following that still small voice and following Him where He leads. Love you both dear sisters in Christ! ❤️
I found this podcast to have really great insight on what it means to seek joy and knowing Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. Min. Her knowledge and experience is truly a blessing to have, and I've come to appreciate her mission of sharing all God has shown her. No matter where you are in your walk with Christ you will benefit from all the content presented throughout this series. Sending out my personal thanks to Min. Barr for sharing this content and I will subscribe to stay up to date on more awesome content in the future.
Whether you listen to one of these podcasts or another, the content will surely benefit you and transform your life. Deborah Barr is passionate about helping people live their most fulfilling life, and through this podcast, real-life stories from real people are revealed. Taking a closer look at Jesus in episode #35, for instance, will surely help you become more intimate with God. Another aspect that makes Deborah's podcasts so valuable is that they speak candidly about everyday issues that can benefit all of us. I am privileged and honored to thank Deborah for her faithful contribution in spreading the Word of God to family, friends, neighbors, communities, towns, states, and around the world.
Transformed by The Word is a blessing! I am encouraged by the teaching of Minister Barr and the guests she has on her podcast. The testimonies of her guests touch my heart and give me hope. Hearing what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do is what we all need!
