This show is a great example of a small scripted poscast, where one host who is passionate can carry a show without huge production costs.Adam is nerdy, but curiously charismatic, and his enthusiasm for true crime, shows. Each week he delves into the depths of a different crime, examining the story behind each one. Adam takes some liberties in the storytelling such as describing the people's emotions, which obviously would be impossible to know. This however adds to the very personal and non forensic examination of the cases. Adam is never afraid to tell you just what he thinks of a case, murderer, victim or crime. How it must have felt to be in a situation or what he feels about a killer. The only minor faults of the show other than the format being to certain tastes is Adams sense of humor, which is so bad it sometimes somehow manages to make you laugh. Most jokes revolve around Leeds United, Rochdale saunas and what he thinks of the music at the time of the murder. Not to everyone's taste, but we'll worth a listen. Consistent and well researched, but most of all, entertaining!
