Miranda Kamal found that thing that we all seem to be looking for. She found her passion, her connection to something greater in boxing. Destined to compete at a high level in a flash it was over due to a non-boxing related injury. She would never be able to train hard or compete at a high level again. In the face of that she committed to the sport she loved so much in any way she could and got creative. She found a way to not only immerse herself in the boxing but tie it in to something she’s always wanted to do – help kids. This week I sit down with National level boxing coach and Executive Director of MJKO Boxing Miranda Kamal to talk about taking your hardest moments and turning them into your greatest opportunities.Show highlights:- Empowerment isn't being better than other people but competing with yourself.
