Been a long-time listener of the Clapper podcasts, and Uncut Gems is the one I look forward to the most: though long, the episodes are passionate, in-depth looks on films that I have never watched, pushing me to broaden my horisons. Keep up the great work!

UNCUT GEMS has a caring and thorough approach in shining light on unloved and misunderstood films from yesteryear. Each week host Jakub and guests drill down on why the film of the week turned into an unwanted outcast on the cinema landscape. Whether the outcome uncovers a delight or a debacle, the discussions are articulate, enthusiastic, and more often than not hilarious in their own right. UNCUT GEMS is probably for the more-than-casual film buff as episodes stretch from 1.5 to 4 hours. However, the conversations are completist movie-nerd fun, covering film history, filmmaking style, and the inner workings of the film business. If you’re a film geek, you should be checking this out.
