Podcast? What's a podcast?
In my day, radio shows were on when they were on. You couldn't just cram it in a little box and shuffle it and mp3 it. When I hiked to school in the snow, I only had nature to listen to, and I was thankful.
You want to hear about games? Stick and a hoop, how's that for a game? When Uncle Sam called and told us that we "gotta catch 'em all," he was talking about the Nazis. Let me tell you, that was no game.
In my day, movies were only in the theaters. We didn't have any "eye max" neither. We had watch them in the two dimensions that we had. Sometimes they didn't have all the colors, or any colors at all! Y'know what? They were better.
I didn't meet your grandmother on no matching-dot-com. We met at a square dance, and we kept three feet between us. No bumping, no grinding, no karaoke contraptions. Just good old-fashioned Hank Williams on the jukebox and home-made punch. I don't know where this generation went wrong.
TL;DRDon't listen to grandpa, listen to podcast. The Living Room Congress. Come on in, let's be friends.
