This week, we take a step back to examine Phish’s November 23, 1985 show at Goddard College, with a specific focus on the 27-min Whipping Post. During this show, Mike Gordon had an epiphany & decided he wanted to pursue music for the rest of his life. The jam in question shares a lot in common with early jamming from The Grateful Dead.
