Good episode? Give it some love!
From droughts to flash floods, failing crops and risk of increased infectious disease, the changes in the earth's climate are having a huge impact on children's lives. This podcast produced by the Office of Research focuses on climate change and its escalating impact on development progress, on children and on inter-generational equity. It looks at the science, the politics, and the next generation, but also the opportunities to innovatively protect and empower children to change the world they live in. It proposes a 20-minute debate with three experts in the subject of climate change - Dr Tom Mitchell (head of climate change at ODI); Professor Saleem Ul Huq (Senior Fellow in the Climate Change Group at the International Institute for Environment and Development); and Ms Esther Agbarakwe (head of the Nigerian Youth Climate Coalition).
