Danielle Arden’s short, Bristles, is a little tale of sexpectations in an apparently very British bedroom. So it called for a score with suitably mixed emotions, as tweedy formality finally finds its loving swing, as this main theme of our two lovers and end credits suggests. Featuring Pete Whitfield, Realstrings, on violins, Simon Lockyer on cello, with some sampled outtakes of Patrick Hayes on Trombone and Ruben Fowler on trumpet.
