The Upend Podcast distills the political, social and economic climate of the region and represents a new, progressive and independent media. The monthly installments aim to contribute to a growing Caribbean consciousness and critical engagement of our institutions, with the aim of building momentum around the possibilities for transformation. Our diverse group of commentators engage listeners around issues that are not well ventilated at the national level, fostering dialogue in a unique and compelling way. We hope to disrupt the 7-day news cycle, where issues are forgotten or discarded and promote a local awareness of Caribbean internationalism, given the far-reaching consequences of international developments that require global solidarity and support.
