Last week I spoke with Annick Boyen, CEO of Weber Shandwick in BeNeLux about their recent study called “The CEO Reputation Premium, a New Era of Engagement“.

81% percent of executives around the world believe it is important for CEOs to have a public presence for their companies to be highly-regarded. They also estimate that 44% of their company s market value and 45% of their company s reputation that s nearly half are attributable to the reputation of their CEO.”

Annick Boyen is CEO of the Weber Shandwick Benelux operation and a seasoned communications and crisis management specialist. She has over 20 years experience, driving campaigns across multiple markets in reputation management and brand positioning assignments.

She obtained a business degree from the University of Liege and a degree in communications at the University of Leuven. Annick is fluent in Dutch, English and French and she is a regular guest lecturer at the International Executive Program for Corporate Communications of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
