Making Haiti the first Black republic in the word and the first country in the Western Hemisphere to abolish slavery.

Haiti has two official languages French and Haitian Creole

Haiti also recognises voodoo as an official religion.

Haiti’s motto: L’Union Fail la force (Unity makes Strength)
