A great documentary! I had to cut short one of the episodes that dealt with explicit child abuse - couldn't listen to it - but others are interesting.

Very entertaining and informative. I really love how Tyler and Liz interact with each other.

Hosts are trying so hard to be clever in ways I found grating

It combines a good insight on how cults work, as told by former members. There are some light-hearted jokes that make the subject easier to listen to and the comedy aspect is in no way disrespecting. So come follow this podcast which will enlighten your ears and give your your life a real meaning.

Love the concept - interviewing people who escaped from cults, or really anything cult-like. Survivors getting to tell their own stories is important, and who also doesn't love to learn about all the cult stuff. The hosts are so annoying though. They are not funny and detract a lot from the show.

One of my favorite podcasts! The hosts are funny but respectful of cult victims (they were in cults themselves). The stories are fascinating.

I really like this podcast, I love cult podcasts and this is great because of the accounts from ex cult members. I know some people have criticised the hosts for piss taking but perhaps it's because of my British sarcasm I enjoy their banter, we have to bear in mind that the hosts are also ex cult members so their sarcasm is also gently poking fun at themselves. I wish they would make more episodes.

Really great idea and interesting guests and stories. I appreciate the idea of the format but it’s just done so poorly that I can’t give it a higher rating. The hosts self-described “witty banter” is too obviously scripted and sounds forced, robotic and isn’t actually funny. Liz seems to think that funny = saying something in the same goofy voice. Tyler is made out to be hehe “facts guy” but he’s too obviously reading it which makes it seem like he’s only just finding it out. I’ve found myself skipping past any time the hosts rudely interrupt the story to give their (not funny) comedy relief. It’s kind of like listening to an annoying 13 year old. Such a shame as I’m sure the hosts are lovely people.

The host are so annoying. Millennial humor and won’t shut up. Just want to hear the guests stories and the hosts comment every two seconds. Like we don’t care about what you think. It’s not about you the episode is supposed to be about your guests story. Please stop “making jokes” didnt laugh once and stop making backhanded disrespectful comments towards your guests. Grow up you guys are like 40.

Wonderful. I love how the hosts jive off each other, but I can understand how some people could find the humour difficult in light of the subject matter. Still, I find it enlightening and entertaining. Beautiful production and music, too.
