There are many reasons for not having a clean house, and there are varying degrees of uncleanliness. Often we just haven't learned the skills it takes to be organized and keep up on things. Other times feelings of overwhelm and depression can make even the smallest tasks seem impossible. And when the situation is extreme, there may be a form of mental un-wellness creating chaos within someone's life. In this episode I will share my own experience with feeling depressed and overwhelmed by it all, and how internalizing my self-proclaimed "failure" as a house-maker severely damaged my self-esteem as a wife and mother.
