Mona Hanna-Attisha is a pediatrician, professor, and public health advocate whose research exposed the Flint water crisis. She is now the director of an initiative to mitigate the impact of the crisis. She is commonly referred to as "Dr. Mona". She was inducted to the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame by the Michigan Women's Historical Center, and also was asked to serve as Honorary Co-Chair of Governor Gretchen Whitmer's Transition Team.

David Hogg is a gun control activist who is a survivor of the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. He is one of 20 founding members of Never Again MSD, a gun control advocacy group led by Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students. He has co-led protests, marches, and boycotts. He has also been a target of right-wing conspiracy theories.Hogg's book, co-written with his sister Lauren, "#NeverAgain: A New Generation Draws the Line" was published in 2018.Hogg was raised in Los Angeles, and attended Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. He is currently a student at Harvard University. He is a Teenlink reporter for the Sun Sentinel.

Suzy Hansen is a journalist and writer. She is a contributing writer at The New York Times Magazine.Hansen worked as an editor at The New York Observer until 2007, when she received a fellowship from the Institute of Current World Affairs to conduct research in Turkey. She also visited Greece, Egypt, Iraq, and Afghanistan to investigate how American influence caused trouble and misfortune for civilians in these countries.Hansen's work has appeared The New Republic, Vogue, and National Geographic. Her first book, "Notes on a Foreign Country: An American Abroad in a Post-America World," was published in 2018.Hansen received her degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrei Codrescu is a poet, novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and commentator for National Public Radio. He was Mac Curdy Distinguished Professor of English at Louisiana State University from 1984 until his retirement in 2009.Codrescu is the author of forty books of poetry, fiction, and essays, and the founder of Exquisite Corpse. He received the Peabody Award for his film "Road Scholar" and the Ovid Prize for poetry.

Carl Pope an environmental advocate. He is best known as for having been the Executive Director of the Sierra Club from 1992 to 2010. Pope had worked with the Sierra Club for more than 30 years. He has also served as a board member for other environmental organizations, and was Political Director for Zero Population Growth.Pope was a Peace Corps volunteer in India from 1967 to 1969, and his first book, "Sahib, An American Misadventure in India," was published in 1972. He has co-authored two other books, "Strategic Ignorance: Why the Bush Administration Is Recklessly Destroying a Century of Environmental Progress" in 2004, and "Climate of Hope: How Cities, Businesses, and Citizens Can Save the Planet" in 2017.Pope received his degree from Harvard College.
