This week Macie covers the senseless and tragic murder of Yoshihiro "Yoshi" Hattori.  Yoshi was from Japan who came to Baton Rouge via student exchange program. He was an extremely hard worker, very talented, and exuberated life to everyone around him.  But one night, the wrong address lead him to his far too early death by a family who was so afraid of a 5'7, skinny, "oriental" man, who was laughing.  What are your thoughts on this episode? Do you agree with Peair's acquittal? Also, attached are sources on foundations and publications done by the Hattori and Haymaker family in preventing something so senseless and cruel from happening again. RESOURCES: Booth, W. In this episode, we commemorate Stephenie Myer's new book, "Midnight Sun," by talking about a real life "vampire" that will make you want to be on Team Jacob even more. Unlike the Twilight series, this story is unfortunately very true. And tells the tale of angsty teens who put all of their eggs in the very wrong and disturbed basket.
