I don't even listen but after you absolutley destroyed "Ral" I'm going to have to, big ups to you on that one
What's The Frequency?.... and? Did you ever get around to listening? ;)
For long to come this will be looked back on as one of the absolute classics of Audio Fiction. Pushing the boundaries of the medium, in audio experementation and narrative experementation. Can't wait for Season 2!
A weird and innovative podcast, for those who enjoy something experimental and challenging!
This one's insane in all the best possible ways.
This show is constantly playing around with both your expectations and the audio medium itself. Parts of the podcast sound random, but every beat is put together with specific intention. Sometimes your subconscious knows things before your brain puts it together, and other times you know things but you don't know why. What's the Frequency is an experience - one that I highly recommend!
A never ending flow of surprises.
Amazing and mind blowing! Can’t wait to see what happens next
What's The Frequency? is an absolutely mind-bending application of the audio medium, capitalizing on its most powerful strengths while gleefully meeting the expectations only the most far-out fans of film noir. Spectacular music and surreal storytelling that leaves you about as disoriented as a full psychedelic episode.
No idea what this is about. Episodes were random, all over the place, were about nothing it seemed. Quit this one after a few episodes.
This show has so much going for it but for me, it never reaches the greatness it could. This show is more concerned with its stylish audio editing tricks which due to overuse becomes dull, it doesn't care about a coherent plot or rich characters. The show has talented people involved that clearly are striving to create something that they want to create but from just an audience point of view, there isn't much here.
This story is mostly interested in experimental sound design, which it excels at, and this leads to some good creepy horror moments. I didn't vibe with all of it or connect as much as I could have with the characters as they are currently developed. The story is difficult to follow if you're not paying close attention, but not incomprehensible. I enjoyed the acting and dialogue. It hasn't updated since 2018, so what's out feels like the first part of a greater mystery that may not be completed.
Oh! You're so "cutting edge." I've never hated a podcast as much as this one. The dude behind this has no talent. All he can really do is repeat sound clips and claim this as "art." But he has no human vision. It's a mystery why this mediocre podcast has garnered so many high ratings. Or maybe not. You see, Olivas is a networker. And those connections transcend an honest assessment of his awful art.
What's The Frequency?Look we happen to LOVE reviews that are critical of our show. Often we have earned what someone doesn't like about us. The show was always intended to make people FEEL something. Good or Bad. What …
