In this episode, Niall is joined by Dr. Sinead Kane, an ultra-marathon runner who has only 5% vision and is registered legally blind. Sinead has overcome many obstacles in her life, from her disability to those who didn't believe in her, but has gone on to achieve two PhD's, qualify as a lawyer and compete across the world in ultradistance running, with two Guinness World Records under her belt. Sinead holds the record for the first blind person to run 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents. She also achieved the record for furthest distance for a female on a treadmill in 12 hours.Niall and Sinead discuss her incredible resilience, and her inner drive to constantly beat the odds. She also offers some advice to our Marathon Mind community ahead of our Mullingar Marathon Mind on November 13th, and explains how she consistently chooses to be visionary, not blind.
