As both candidates get ready for one of the most consequential campaign years in history, the United States labor department released a report that showed job growth slowing to 8.4% and nonfarm payrolls increasing 1.37 million, this is fewer than was in July but almost the same as was in August.

President Trump and Joe Biden will face an election with the economy crippled and the coronavirus pandemic still strong. Questioning on how Trump took action on the pandemic will greatly influence the election.

Another occasion that will affect the election was the controversial report that The Atlantic published, confirming the fact that Trump called US military soldiers “losers” and decided not to visit an American Cemetery calling it unimportant. This was confirmed by many news sources including the Associated Press.
