The first time I couldn't go past the first like 5 episodes, then after a few months I tried it again 'cause of the rating. Best choiche of my life, after the first 8 or so episodes the show changes tone and what to say, is one of the best podcast I ever listened to.
Great podcast!! An intresting story with phenomenal voice acting! I enjoyed it a lot!
incredibly well-made & produced. compelling storyline. if i had to work with eiffel, i'd probably key his car.
Hello! My name is Ken. As a fellow podcaster, I know how important reviews can be to creators like us. That’s why, in the spirit of the season, I’ve decided to give your podcast 5 stars. If you’re also feeling in a giving mood, feel free to review mine as well! It’s called PRRP, which stands for Podcast Reviews Reviews Podcast. (It’s a podcast that reviews the reviews of its podcast.) Happy holidays!
my favourite kind of stories are the ones that start as a lighthearted comedy and then you end up sobbing through the end of it, holding characters' dead bodies or mental health in your arms. even though sometimes the humour was too jarring and plain for my taste, i still immensily enjoyed the crafted writing, profoundly written characters and their layered backstories, and the bittersweet ness of it all. it is a universe i will be coming back to in my memories
This was very different than what I expected, but I love the format and the characters. Episodes can be odd, but it adds to the fun.
the extent to which this podcast has melted my brain is alarming. society if i could go a week without relistening to it >>>>>>>>>>
Engaging story with twists and turns, quality voice acting and great Foley work.
I remember a few years ago I was looking for a podcast to listen while doing my work. I was just discovering about audio dramas, I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting into. I listened to a few episodes, they were funny but after a few ones they soon evolved to something more and I am not sure when but it didn't take long for me to get hooked on this podcast. I kinda binged listened to this podcast and caught up to when they were still coming out. I could barely wait for the next episode. To this day I still listen to a few episodes when I am missing this a lot. This became my favourite podcast and I recommend it to anyone who asks me about podcasts. I never found another one like this. I tried but this one set the bar too high. There is no words to how I got emotionally connected to these characters and made me forget about everything else and just focusing on the story for each episode. I don't think there are words to express and I might seem overexagerated but this is a truly magnificient podcast and I am just glad I found it and listened to it.
Really? This is the "best" that audio drama has to offer. Amateurish acting, stilted storylines. I'm only giving it three stars because there have been a few moving moments. But it seems as if the writers here are trying to calculate what the audience wants as opposed to going with their vision. And that's what's so frustrating about this program!
Hands down, my favorite podcast. Beautifully balanced drama and comedy, the kind of balance like listening to Bolero while laughing about Back to the Future with your best friend. Simultaneously a future out of reach and just within touching distance of reality.
The first few episodes, I was like "haha, antics in space, great! This is fun." Like a plant monster in the ventilation system, however, it grew on me and was still "fun" but it became much more compelling. I wasn't listening for the goofs, I was listening to see how my space goofs would survive another week. I really enjoyed it.
One of my all-time favorite podcasts. I deeply wish it would come back for another season - or at least in a different form, with some of the same actors.
One of the best storylines I have heard! Excellent characters and amazing plot. Highly recommend.
A masterpiece of audio drama. After the first season I am hoocked, and can't wait to see where this goes.
Great story arc!
This is a fantastic podcast. A must listen for people into sci-fi audio drama. I was not super into it in the first few episodes but the story really picks up and you get more invested in the characters. The later seasons especially are great.
Listening to this show feels like coming home. One of the most life-affirming pieces of media I've ever consumed. Also, there's comedy, science, and sentient plant monsters. The perfect audio drama.
One of the most exceptional pieces of fiction I've encountered in any media. I could listen to this all day every day and still revel in the humor, nuance, growth and heart of the story being told. Would (and have!) recommend to anybody, whether they're a podcast fan or not!
I will never stop loving this podcast! It's one few that I've actually relistened to, which is saying something. It's sci-fi epicness, with dramatic and comedic flourishes, a witty and entertaining plot, and wonderful characters! I'm especially a fan of Hera, their AI character, who is one of my all-time favorites.
