It took me 3 tries over the course of a year to get past the 3rd or 4th episode - there's quite a bit of silliness, and I usually prefer stories that pull at my heartstrings. But Hera's voice and the ubiquitous recommendations/rave reviews for this show across the internet finally got me to stick it out, and **very minor SPOILER**once you get past the plant monster plot line, you realize that this is one of the most heartfelt, character- and relationship-driven podcasts out there.Episode 41 (Memoria) gets all the accolades - and they are well deserved! But there are at least 5 episodes that got to me in that way - episodes which were as moving and impactful as a really good therapy session. This is done brilliantly, with humor and metaphor, but quite subtly - you need to be open to it, or you might miss it.I miss Doug and Hera so very much. Commander Minkowski too. And, quite surprisingly, Dmitri (Hilbert) as well.I am so grateful to the entire Wolf 359 team for the gift of this podcast, this story, these characters. Thank you 🧡
