Eric Leija, aka Primal Swoledier, is an Instagram fitness influencer and Senior Kettlebell Coach at Onnit Academy in Austin, Texas. Eric grew up as a self-described chubby kid with social anxiety and was teased by his siblings before taking up fitness and Mixed Martial Arts. After diving head fist into the world of psychedelics and struggling to make friends, Eric decided to drop out of college and traveled to train with some elite MMA fighters, including TJ Dillashaw and Duane Ludwig. He then began working in the Onnit warehouse before becoming one of their top trainers. He has gone on to build himself a large following on Instagram and a successful online business, offering workout programs, a workout subscription, diet plans, and apparel. He also leads kettlebell workshops across the country, teaching his trademark "kettlebell flows."
