How race affects sports and basketball is what basketball star and entrepreneur Allen Kehinde Aragbaye tells us about today as he joins Alexandra and Lenya in discussion, but it’s also way more than that. Listen as they discuss the path for someone to be able to play professional sports, how the schools and coaches prepare the athletes for only certain things, and what's missing from a child's real-world education as they pursue their passion.

Allen Kehinde Aragbaye is a former Division 1 basketball player and spent over 17 years dedicated to playing the game, so he knows exactly what it’s like to devote your entire life to the singular goal of making it to the NBA. He is a current Personal Development Coach and author of forthcoming book: Transition Game. As a former college basketball player, Allen understands firsthand the difficulty of transitioning from sports to the real world. As a result, he has made it his life’s mission to ensure former basketball players are prepared to transition after sports.
