January can be a long month! In this episode we’re sharing some ideas for how to fill the weekend, without emptying your bank.

Caveat: we’re not going extreme no spending. We get that if you decide to have a nice long relaxing bath that’s technically spending on your energy bill. But we share enough ideas that there will be something for everyone.

Big shout out to @savingmoneybish who did an excellent post on this on Instagram. And Helen Johnson for introducing us to YouTube playlists for dancing the weekend away. And Tamsin Caine for not only sharing her favourite hikes, but actually taking me to her favourite place.

Whether you want to expand your mind with TED Talks, get out into nature with the dog, or explore fabulous free museums. Yes we might be having to do this out of necessity at the end of January. But could we make it so much fun it becomes a monthly thing?

We’d love to hear your ideas and what you got up to, as always, drop us a message [email protected]
