Not too long ago, it used to be that we were all expected to have a “main job” — that one thing that we did that, basically, defines our lives. That’s the way it was in the USA, at least. In some countries, people work to live. In this country, we live to work. But now, things have changed. While we still live to work, the generally accepted idea of work has spread out to where it’s OK to do more than one thing.
