Deborah Sweeney is a Working Woman Entrepreneur and the CEO ofMyCorporation.com.  With her experience in the fields ofcorporate and intellectual property law, Deborah has evolved fromlawyer to business owner.  She acquired MyCorporation.com fromIntuit in 2009 and is passionate about the start-up andentrepreneurial industry. MyCorporation has been involved in theformation of hundreds of thousands of businesses throughout the USand Canada, giving Deborah a strong understanding of the landscapeof small business.

Ms. Sweeney received her JD & MBA degrees from PepperdineUniversity. She is active in the community and loves working withstudents and aspiring entrepreneurs.  She serves on the Boardof Regents at California Lutheran University and is a foundingmember of Partners of Pepperdine.  Deborah has served as anadjunct professor at the University of West Los Angeles and SanFernando School of Law in the areas of corporate and intellectualproperty law. Ms. Sweeney is also well-recognized for her writtenwork online as a contributing writer with top business andentrepreneurial sites such as Forbes, American Express,Business.com, and Business Insider.

In her ‘free’ time, Deborah enjoys spending time with herhusband and two sons, Benjamin (11) and Christopher (9). Deborah believes in the importance of family and credits theentrepreneurial business model for giving her the flexibility toenjoy both a career and motherhood.
