We ask whether global food companies can successfully eliminate single-use plastic. Bea Perez is chief sustainability officer at Coca Cola, and says the firm is trying to create a circular economy around plastics. Veronique Cremades-Mathis is global head of sustainable packaging at Nestle, and tells us the food giant is considering reusable packaging. Simon Howson-Green is a specialist crisis management consultant and argues that corporate efforts around plastics are about damage limitation. And we get the perspective of Melati Wijsen, an 18-year-old Indonesian/Dutch activist, who co-founded Bye Bye Plastic Bags when she was aged just 12. Also in the programme, President Trump has confirmed that the US intends to add some more countries to its controversial travel ban. Anita Kumar from Politico brings us more details. Plus the BBC's Zoe Kleinman reports on the early warning signs for workplace burnout, and how best to avoid it.(Picture: Plastic bottles in a waterway. Picture credit: Getty Images.)
