The format of this podcast is that of a single guy monologue, one movie per episode, and as the title implies, is confined to WW2. This narrows the field somewhat so you don't get any aliens or swords and sandals. The episodes are deep-dives with around a 40 minute run time.The host is an experienced movie watcher with some knowledge of film production and so his insights are illuminating without being too technical.His modus operandi is to describe the movie, scene by scene, in chronological order, pointing out interesting shots, important plot points and character activities. He has a pleasant, gravelly voice with a light American accent (Californian?) and delivers his material in a leisurely, conversational tone that is light-hearted without being comedic.The format is heavy on spoilers, although he hasn't told us yet how the war actually ended.
