Love War Champagne - The 2nd in a multi-part series. Claire is reading from an old inherited diary - a young woman deals with life (and love) in the Champagne caves of wartime France. With little more than her determination, creativity and the company of her diary, she manages a day at a time. A wayward group of American soldiers joins them in the cave where they figure out how to work together to survive.
As Claire reads the diary, she becomes deeply intrigued by the degree to which she identifies with its writer - how could they have so much in common . . . ?
