Topic: Consequences to Actions

Action: If you’re a fan of the show Brooklyn 99, there’s an episode where Gina tells Jake, “How was I supposed to know that there’d be consequences to my actions?!” It’s a hilarious scene because you think that Gina is the only one who didn’t know that actions have consequences. But it’s a lesson we too easily forget. All actions, no matter how big or how small they are have a respective consequence. The problem with consequences is that you can’t always predict what the consequences will be. Life isn’t black and white. Every action has factors that play a part in determining what the consequence will be. The important thing to remember is that all actions will have a consequence. You just may or may not like what the consequences end up being. Before you go doing anything, take the time to think about the possible consequences and decide if the action is worth the possibilities.
