Amazing. The struggle with noise pollution is far more pervasive than I think most imagine. I think it's very easy to simply tune things out, and when something becomes irritating or debilitating, people often go, "Just tune that out, too!" But, is that really our responsibility? Excellent examination of the historical context of these silly shows that some of us grew up watching in reruns. Without understanding where they came from and why they were popular, these shows can seem strange and absurd. I appreciate knowing why they were developed, and why they were all suddenly cancelled.
