This short story (like all of the ones from The Chronicles of Now) is based on real facts, and real societal problems. It's sweet, and sad, and I loved hearing both the fiction and the real-life parts of this episode. A great episode from a creative and thoughtful podcast.

I may have NEVER come across the information in this episode if not for Reply All. I was completely disturbed by the ways some white people think they can make amends for their previous racists transgressions against black people. I can't imagine what they are thinking. Thank you, Reply All, for shedding light on this.
