A relaxing dive into the history of songs that are known for being in a particular movie. Definitely the kind of podcast you can listen to while doing menial tasks, and does a good job of setting the scene of the year that the movies and songs were popular, as well as exploring the films, the music, and our associations.

Some of the biggest hit songs of all time are closely associated with classic cinema. These guys talk about both in a comfortable but informed way that makes you want to listen to more. Love this show.

There are a lot of podcasts out there that talk about film and mention how the soundtrack contributes. Where TSFTM do things differently is that they focus on a song and how that single song makes the film. Alex, Ben and Dietrich clearly love what they are talking about - whether they like the song or the film - and it's not only the film they choose or the song they highlight that makes the show interesting, it's the way that they interact with each other.
