Like their name suggests, this podcast goes against the grain. But that’s a good thing, in a world with a podcasts full of yes people, it’s good to hear one that challenges the general consensus and at the same time, comes up with thoughtful and different takes on your favourite franchises! Check them out!

Even though Contrarian’s Corner is sometimes facetious, Alex and Julio always bring up some thought provoking ideas that I hadn’t thought of before when watching the movie they’re discussing. Not to mention that Alex drops a ton of professional wrestling references and I feel like I understand his points on another level. Julio is a sweetheart so don’t say I didn’t say anything nice about you Julio.

Alex & Julio are down-to-earth, funny guys. They deliver a great show that feels like hanging out with friends and talking pop culture. The quality is consistent and the entertainment value delivers. Don't sleep on THE CONTRARIANS.

Love the concept of the show. Anything that challenges how you look at a movie is ging to lead to great content. I like a lot of podcasts. I LOVE The Contrarians. I love every god darn episode, their concept is genius, and I always want to watch what they discuss. They deserve a 6 star rating, honestly.

You gotta love the concept of this podcast. It brings you a different lense on your favourite movie, tries to make you think your least is an Oscar contender. It’s fun, different and a must listen!

Listening to this podcast is like having a conversation/argument with your smartest, funniest, most passionate friend. It pisses you off and entertains you at the same time. It's the best.
