A lifelong guitar enthusiast and player, Craig Garber is 54 years old and has been a self-employed entrepreneur since January, 1999. As someone who grew up completely in love with music, and in particular, the guitar… this is, by far, the most fun and exciting project he’s ever worked on.
Craig is originally from NYC, living in Tampa, Florida since 2005. Been with his wife since 1993 – they have 3 children (2 boys and a girl) & 1 grandchild. He’s in great shape, has a tremendous work ethic, and his hobbies include playing guitar, working out, traveling, photography, fishing, good cigars and good coffee.
1) What is your podcast about?
[In Everyone Loves Guitar
,] we sit down and talk with interesting professional guitar
players, find out what makes them tick, and uncover the backstory behind their success, failures, and greatest challenges
2) Who should listen to your podcast?
Anyone who is into guitar, music, biographies and personal development.
3) How long have you been podcasting and why did you get into podcasting?
A little over a year. During this time we’ve dropped 320 Episodes. Sounds weird, but I got into this because I love playing guitar, I’m very curious about what makes people tick… and I just had a feeling it was something I should do.
4) What non-podcasting hobbies do you have?
Many: Playing guitar, music, traveling, spending time with my wife and children, photography, good coffee and good cigars!
5) Tell us about your setup!
Very basic: I use an Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone straight into my mac. I record on Skype using Audio Hijack, and edit with Sound Studio
6) What is one show (other than your own) that you think everyone should listen to?
7) Anything else you’d like to share?
Love the opportunity to connect – sometimes in a very meaningful way – with so many cool people I speak to. I also enjoy hearing about some of the positive energy I’m putting into the world, through the feedback of my awesome listeners.
