About This List

On Air with Niilo: English language episodes
  1. After all these years - has #Google become Evil? Is #Facebook still as Evil as ever and should everyone, both young and old, right now delete their account (that is, if they already haven't)? Is GDPR Good or Evil in education, or perhaps there really is no reason to care? Why does Alastair need to wear the incognito gear? Is there any hope left for us?
  2. This episode was a one-on-one with Kimberly Mattina - see http://thetechlady-km.blogspot.com/ - from #NewJersey , #USA . Kim has more certifications in pedagogical IT use than I can count - and now also a #YouTube Live show through #HOA so this was a real blast!
  3. This episode focuses on the educational offerings from Microsoft (O365) and Google (GSuite) - how do the certification programs work in these two camps? And - where on earth is Apple in all this? I had the pleasure to have Lindy Hockenbary (see http://www.intechgratedpd.org/about1/) as a guest - and she knows her way pretty well around both Microsoft and Google edu cloud offerings!
  4. We kick start the 2017 season (kinda late, I know) by polishing the crystal ball and looking forward to 2030
  5. I listened to Jim Collison and his #HomeGadgetGeeks earlier and it was way cool to hear about the #edtech Kyle Wilcox has been building at #Westfield Washington Schools. It was interesting to hear how the gear is put to use! My friend Bjorn Behrendt also told about his new #podcast adventures. What a bummer though that I forgot to ask these pros for some On Air tech advice that I badly need. Next time!
  6. This episode was a one-on-one with +Fred Delventhal - see https://plus.google.com/+FredDelventhal - from #WashingtonDC , #USA. Fred works as an Instructional Technology Coordinator for a medium sized school district in Virginia and he is probably well known for many educators around the globe through the #GoogleEducast #YouTube live show and #podcast.
  7. Yes, we sure are playing games - back to the topic from 2015 we go!  There are quite a few connecting links between the spontaneous learning - the kind that games so easily and effortlessly seem to bring about - and the learning that we all would very much like to see taking place in the formal education. Many thanks to all of you guys in the panel and especially a huge thank you to Zack Gilbert who connected with us during his day off!
