One of the things that keeps a lot of people from really succeeding is that they want the journey to be smooth. And in a lot of cases, that’s just not realistic.

When I look back on what it took for me and my wife, Shelley, to get to where we are today, it wasn’t always easy. In fact, a lot of times it was hard.

We’ve had times when we didn’t have enough money to pay the bills. We’ve lived in some horrible rent houses. Worked in some jobs we didn’t like and didn’t pay well. But throughout it all, we made it.

Today’s challenge is something I wish I could go back and tell my younger self about. Because knowing and accepting this makes those hard times a lot easier.

In fact, now that I know and accept this one thing, and I realize that there is a formula to dealing with it, I can handle it and move past it a whole lot faster.
