Usually when it comes to needs, we expect our partners to meet them. And, we do this often without even knowing what our needs are.
The problem with this approach is that if you outsource the power to meet your needs to a partner, you become dependent on your partner to fulfil them.
This is rarely a healthy or sustainable dynamic to remain in. And, it repels rather than attracts your partner, thus pushing them (and most likely yourself) further & further away.
