Everything starts with the family, doesn't it? If you think about your own life, think about your past, everything that had a big impact on you most likely came from your family. That's regardless of whether you were brought up with your biological parents or not. So many adult wounds and traumas that we talk about often come from childhood. This is called the parent wound. When we become parents ourselves, we don't want to inflict those same parent wounds onto our own children. When you know better it's time to do better.
