Founding member DERRICK "DUCKIE" SIMPSON of the legendary and Grammy award winning group BLACK UHURU pulled up to the Entertainment Report Podcast for a no holds barred conversation. In this episode Duckie Simpson spoke about Chris Blackwell signing Black Uhuru to Island Records, working extensively with Sly & Robbie, touring with Sting & The Police, performing with Mick Jagger & The Rolling Stones, problems between himself and Mykal Rose, money issues, Peter Tosh, Junior Reid joining the group, winning a Grammy and the passing of Sandra "Puma" Jones.

Duckie Simpson also spoke about recording classic Black Uhuru albums "Showcase", "Sinsemilla", "Red", "Anthem", "Brutal" and "Positive".

For over 50 years Black Uhuru has remained one of the most popular recognized prolific reggae band from Jamaica.
