In 2001, the comedy film Legally Blonde starring Reese Witherspoon made its debut in American theaters and became a major hit in the U.S. and across the world. 20 years later, the movie's cultural legacy still lives on as more and more women have joined the legal profession over the years. The reigning Miss Broward County USA, Heather Lee O'Keefe is a 24-year-old lawyer, entrepreneur, television host, and volunteer for multiple charities. This week, she shares her career aspirations and how her life experiences have inspired her to pursue a career as a female leader in law, journalism, and politics. She also shares her perspectives on notable topics about law and media and how they relate to the principles of national unity and civility.
