During Memorial weekend of 2023, the Tillerys explore the Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers. A 5+ hour ride from home, some challenges arise though we persevere and are blessed with pure sunshine for our weekend getaway.

At the end of October, we took advantage of camping locally. This popular state park requires early planning. With lots of access to the water, trails and beach it’s clear to see why this is such a popular Florida state park!
What an adventure to navigate waters over land with no visible signs of where the river begins and ends. We persevered and it was worth it to check off our list and see such a sight of mother natures’ aftermath from Hurricanes Ian and Nicole.
