Dave Smith PhD (d.d.smith @ mmu.ac.uk) is a former personal trainer and a registered Sport and Chartered Exercise Psychologist at The Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC). Bill DeSimone is a NSCA-certified personal trainer and owner of Optimal Exercise in Cranbury, New Jersey. James Steele, PhD (james.steele @ solent.ac.uk) is an Associate Professor of Sport and Exercise Science at Southampton Solent University and the Principal Investigator at Ukactive Research Institute.
