One Life to Live may no longer be on the air anymore, but the characters from the show still hold a very special place in the hearts of all soap fans. We are welcoming for the very first time to Stardish Radio the incredible Robert S. Woods (ex- Bo Buchannan) along side his former co-star the amazingly talented Catherine Hickland (ex-Lindsay Rappaport). Join us for this candid LIVE exclusive with the two soap veterans as we talk about life after Onle Life to Live as well as their dynamic chemistry during their time on the beloved and heavily missed soap. And in true Stardish fashion there may be a few surprises for my guests along the way!
We soap fans are still deep in mourning over the loss of legendary soap pioneer Agnes Nixon, who passed away late last month at the age of 93, and who created many of our favorite landmark soap operas, including the ABC classics One Life to Live and All My Children.  Stardish Radio was created nine years ago to celebrate those series, and as a way to mark the incredible life and mind of the wonderful woman who was singlehandedly responsible for so much bold, brilliant work, we have invited a number of actors (including Jill Larson, Michael E. Knight, and many other special guests) whose lives and careers were forever changed by the blessing of Agnes’ powerful pen.
Patrika Darbo has received a PRIMETIME EMMY NOMINATION for OUTSTANDING ACTRESS IN A SHORT FORM COMEDY OR DRAMA for the internet comedy series ACTING DEAD (Leonian Pictures).  She plays the role of Hollywood talent agent, Margot Mullen.  Darbo is the only nominee in both the Actress and Actor categories that is part of an independent production and not part of a television network or major website.  In addition to her previous Daytime Emmy nominated role on Days of Our Lives, Darbo received two separate Independent Series Award nominations for Best Guest Actress for her roles in Miss Behave and The Bay.  Television guest credits include The Big Bang Theory, Devious Maids, The Middle and a recurring role on Desperate Housewives.  Film enthusiasts will know Darbo from her many roles including stand out performances in such popular films as Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, Speed 2, Rango, Babe and In The Line of Fire where John Malkovich infamously says to her character, "You shouldn't have been from Minneapolis."
James Wilder is that rare breed of artist that is not drawn to the flame of fame and fortune but rather the exhilaration of a new challenge. Committing only to that which truly inspires him -- be it a film, TV or stage role, designing award-winning Hollywood Hills homes or an exclusive line of leather jackets and jewelry -- Wilder has been successfully merging creative spirit with entrepreneurial instincts since his early teens. It was then that he first discovered he could earn more money as a fire-eating/knife-throwing street performer than bagging groceries. And it was far more fun.  Almost always judicious in his career decisions, it’s been a while since Wilder found a project compelling enough to distract him from his other ventures.  But the opportunity to play a duplicitous washed up screenwriter in the soon-to-be-released indie psychological thriller “3 Holes And a Smoking Gun” (formerly titled “Three Holes, Two Brads, And a Smoking Gun”) was just too juicy a role to pass up.Co-starring Joaquim de Almeida, Rudolf Martin, and Richard Edson, “3 Holes And A Smoking Gun” has since accrued a slew of awards -- including the “Grand Jury Prize” and “Best Lead Actor” (Wilder) at the 2014 Red Dirt International Film Festival, "Best U.S. Narrative Feature Film" at the 2014 Laughlin International Film Festival, and “Best Screenwriter” (Scott Fivelson) at the 2014 Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles. The film also screened at the Winter Film Awards in NYC (Feb 26, 2015) where Wilder took Best Actor, and will screen at the Garden State Film Festival (March 19-22) in Atlantic City prior to its early spring theatrical release.
Elizabeth -aka Lizzy- Small is a true triple threat; she sings, dances and acts and is versatile in both comedic and dramatic roles. Starting with a series regular role on Hip Hop Harry for TLC, Elizabeth has shot over 70 national commercials, music videos and appeared in several variety shows. Elizabeth has a supporting role in "Spare Parts" for Lionsgate which will be released in 2015. She appears opposite George Lopez, who has admired Elizabeth's tenacity since she was young and first worked with him in her tweens. Lizzy also appeared in an indie film with Sarah Hyland, of Modern Family, and is prepping for "Adam 8" in the lead role. Her singing and recording interests have broadened and she is now exploring collaborations with top industry pros. Her single, "Gravity" has dropped along with the music video directed by Sean Williams, Crackhorse. Elizabeth has been on the short lists of major directors for feature films, and when she's not working or studying her craft, she gives back to the community by hosting and helping at special events for kids. Lizzy was a co-host at Superstars of the Year opposite Dylan Snyder and David DeLuise for the Boys & Girls Clubs. She is now excited about creating new creative collaborations in music.

Rising star Elena Goode is as adept at portraying a strong, passoniate woman as she is playing a vulnerable and complicated character.  This fresh-on-the-scene Puerto Rican beauty is currently starring in the festival hit, Elliot Loves, written and directed by Gary Terracino, and receiving a lot of buzz from critics and fans.  Elliot Loves follows the adventures of a boy at two stages: as a nine year old who is best friend to his single, barely-keeping-it-together mom, and as a 21 year-old looking for love in New York City.  Deemed a ‘Latin spitfire’ by a reviewer for her role, Goode plays a single mother raising a Dominican-American son who is full of heart and hungry for love.   The film won “audience choice” at Miami Gay and Lesbian film festival and will showing at the Kansas City Film Festival, Q Fest in Philadelphia, Outfest in Los Angeles, New York Latino Festival and Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.
On Sunday, June 24 at 8p/7c, “Dateline” will air America Now: Lost In Suburbia, a revealing and emotional look at suburban poverty in America. According to a recent government report, the median American family lost nearly 40% of its net worth between 2007 and 2010. Middle-class Americans were hit the hardest. And, for the first time in U.S. history, there are more poor people living in the suburbs than in cities. Last fall, “Dateline” began following three formerly middle-class families as they confronted poverty for the first time. “Dateline” cameras rolled as these families faced situations they never thought they would experience: asking family for financial support, relying on food pantries to feed their children and potentially losing their homes. “Dateline” anchor Lester Holt shares their personal stories and their struggles to retain the American dream.
Echo’s Revenge: The Ultimate Gameis the first in a series of YA books about brothers Reggie (age 14) and Jeremy (age 11)—two of a handful of elite master gamers—who are able to beat Echo, a hellish, stealthy, robotic nemesis.  After escaping their abusive stepfather, Reggie and Jeremy run away to their father’s home over a thousand miles away.  During their journey, the boys discover that all of the master gamers who can beat Echo are disappearing because Echo-7 has somehow materialized in the real world and is hunting them down as prey. As other master gamers go missing, Reggie and Jeremy must stick together and use their wits in order to figure out Echo-7’s intentions and rescue his victims.      Echo’s Revenge completes the story of Reggie and Jeremy’s ultimate confrontation with Echo-7.  Twosubsequent books will tell the same story, one from the perspective of the game designers who are attempting to corral their out-of-control creation (including Sean Austin), and one from the perspective of the monster robot itself. Beyond the series of novels, Getzen has expanded the world of Echo into a website (echohunt.com) that features video footage and blog entries from figures in the Echo universe.  Presented from the perspective of Sean Austin, the website is an opportunity to bridge the gap between the page and the screen to offer an even more immersive experience to Echo’s growing legion of fans young and old.
Charley Koontz became the unlikeliest of heroes when he enrolled in the second season of the Emmy Award-winning NBC sitcom COMMUNITY.  The primetime series centers on a group of students at fictional Greendale Community College and stars Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, and Chevy Chase. As Greendale’s oft-beleaguered student “Fat Neil,” Koontz has tackled the issue of bullying and difference with dignity, heart and humor, earning him a legion of fans in the process.    It has all happened pretty fast for Charley.   Just six months after graduating from college in real-life, Charley was tapped for a role in Quentin Dupieux’s indie feature RUBBER.  With the film’s protagonist being a tire, it seemed a long shot that this could be traction for Charley’s acting career.  But when the young actor found himself at the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival where RUBBER burned up the screen to critical acclaim, it was both heady and wildly encouraging.   Memorable stints on Teen Nick’s GIGANTIC and NBC’s PERFECT COUPLES quickly led to COMMUNITY and a guest-starring role on NBC’s AWAKE.  Upcoming project includes the TV film WORKER’S COMP, and the feature films THE ROAD TO JUAREZ and WRONG.

Taylor Hicks to Headline at Bally’s Las Vegas! Hicks becomes the first “American Idol” winner or finalist to secure a residency in Las Vegas, a testament to his talent and staying power as one of the show’s most beloved stars. It is also a sort of homecoming, as Las Vegas is where Hicks’ journey to fame began. He was in New Orleans the night before Hurricane Katrina. With his flight cancelled, he was given a free airplane voucher. Hicks used the ticket to travel to Las Vegas, where coincidentally “American Idol” auditions were being held.
